The positions are part of the ERC Starting Grant project Calcifer: Unveiling the mysteries of stellar dynamics — a pioneering journey in magnetoasteroseismology. The advertised positions are for two years initially, with the possibility of an extension based on performance. The start date is flexible but envisioned ideally between January - September 2025.
Candidates with a strong background in observational asteroseismology and/or MHD processes are encouraged to apply. Specific experience with the following topics is considered a strong asset: i) White dwarf asteroseismology, ii) Observational asteroseismology and modeling of g-mode pulsators, iii) Observational magnetoasteroseismology, iv) MHD simulations, v) Angular momentum transport & Stellar evolution models.
