Welcome to the page of the Calcifer project!
Calcifer is being developed at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) in the group of Assist. Pr. Lisa Bugnet, from 2024 to 2029. The ERC Starting Grant 101165631 funds the project, associated with the Horizon Europe ERC framework.

We investigate how magnetic fields impact our current understanding of the evolution of low- and intermediate-mass stars, from the main sequence to the final stages.
