Hi, my name’s Emily, and I’m a postdoc with expertise in asteroseismology and advanced statistical techniques. These topics go hand in hand, with asteroseismology providing some of the most information-rich observational data available to stellar physics, and advanced statistics providing the means to relate this data to the underlying physics driving it. My current special interest is hierarchical Bayesian modelling, a flexible statistical tool useful for modelling populations.
